Yuan Yin was born in Beijing, China. She received her BFA from Capital Normal University in oil painting and is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Long Island University in New York. Yin has over 15 years of experience as a fine art painter and designer.  Her work has been included in numerous international exhibitions with a recent solo show at the Art Museum of Capital Normal University in 2011. Her early works depict childhood memories and life experiences, combining the use of bright colors and abstract expressionism. While living in New York, Yin has adapted to western culture and its influences can been seen in her new work. Currently, she lives and works in New York.
